    • I wanted to send an email because I feel it imperative for you to know about the exceptional customer service provided by one of your staff. I wouldn't normally spend the time to bring an employee to your attention; however, the service provided was above and beyond.
      Excellent customer service has almost become a thing of the past. We've almost grown accustomed to outsourced customer service departments and faceless, electronic help. Before coming into your store, I was on the phone with TELUS and Esecuritel all day attempting to figure out my replacement device. After back and forth over the phone with customer service, I got nowhere, and only encountered, disgruntled representatives, whom were honestly, no help at all. I thought it best for me to come into the store, and speak face to face with someone. I chatted to Janelle about my difficulties with Esecuritel and she immediately called them in attempt to facilitate my claim with them and clear the issue. She handled it was such professionalism and knowledge and ended up getting me my answer, and apologizing on their behalf, regardless of the fact that they're a 3rd party company. Asides from professionalism and helpfulness, Janelle was sympathetic to my situation (she ended up providing and setting me up with a loaner phone) and was very personable.
      People like Janelle are the kind of employees companies need to attract and retain, their customer service is what makes clients like myself stay loyal to TELUS, and to your store.
      ... I can say I've dealt with my fair share of clients, and managed an abundance of staff. That said, I've see customer service from both ends in my day to day work, and can still say that Janelle exemplified one of the best client/customer interactions I've encountered to date.
