Marketing and Social Media Coordinator

Your Responsibilities

  • Create marketing and social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideations and scheduling.
  • Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messages
  • Brand Management and development
  • Build management of the company’s social media accounts, profile and presence
  • Generating and sharing social media content that builds meaningful connections
  • Stay up to date with changes in social media platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Reporting and metrics tracking
  • Website management and maintenance
  • Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
  • Assess, create and implement marketing campaigns
  • Design, create and source communication material and promotional items
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop marketing strategies and collateral
  • Assistance with event planning – tradeshows

 

 

 

Your Qualifications

Education:

  • Post secondary education in Communications or marketing

 

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Experience in brand marketing and brand strategy
  • Experience with graphic editing using adobe illustrator / photo shop etc.
  • Experience with Joomla, CSS and Less would be an asset
  • Content writing experience, such as video scripts, website and social media campaigns.

 

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of Google ad words and analytics
  • Strong knowledge of Brand management

 

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including tact and professionals
  • Comfortable working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication skills with an aptitude for writing and editing
  • Demonstrated ability to write content for website, brochures, social media and other professional materials.
